While Assistant Editor Taylor Walker has been once more looking into the painful and ongoing issue of moving LA County’s young people between various youth lock-ups, each of these environments clearly “not fit for youth,” editor Celeste Fremon has been at work on a number of other critically important stories you won’t want to miss.
Editor Fremon has also vanished temporarily from these pages because, for about a week, she was busy with the process of getting a brand new knee, which has happily now been acquired.
New stories (none of them knee-related), and important additions to existing investigative series will be coming soon.
So, watch this space.
PS: WLA’s batch of May 2025 backyard roses pictured above have nothing to do with our upcoming stories, but we thought you’d find them cheering anyway.
