Theoretically, I’m flying out of Vermont today via the Albany airport, and keeping my fingers (and UGGs) crossed that the fast descending storm doesn’t snow me in (as I’m quite ready to get home to El Lay).
I’ll be back to regular posting tomorrow AM—or sooner, depending upon the weather and the available WiFi.
Why does anyone live where it regularly snows? Celeste, I would like a 200 words or less thesis about that on my desk by tomorrow.
Celeste: You got out, obviously. Lucky for you the storm tracked eastward–we got ten inches. And I live here because snow is beautiful and cheering, brightens the winter, and makes spring all that more glorious. (I also hit myself over the head because it feels so good when I stop.) I miss you, Ms. Social Justice. Keep fighting the good fight.

Well, now I’m jinxed. It’s snowing in Georgia, and I was wearing short-sleeves two days ago.
Hey, Nance!
Yeah, we dodged the storm bullet, so to speak, and only got lovely saltshaker snow falling the day I left…so felt snow kissed on our way outa town. Missing everyone, though.
