Allred: Whitman’s Huz Made Notes on the “Never Received” SSA Letter

Whitman’s statement that she and her husband never got the 2003 letter
from the Social Security Administration relating to the possible undocumented immigration status of her housekeeper, Nicandra Diaz Santillan, and Whitman’s further claim that Nicky “might have” intercepted the letter in question, appears to be false.

At the noon press conference, Allred showed, not only the letter, but the what are reported to be hand-written notes that Whitman’s husband, Dr. Griffith Harsh, reportedly made on the letter.

Ooops.

Over to you, Meg.

The Sac Bee has this.

Zach Behrens at LAist reports on the press conference and asks some interesting questions.

UPDATE:

WHITMAN’S HUZ NOW SAYS IT WAS POSSIBLE HE SAW THE LETTER

However, he maintains it was not a red flag to him suggesting that housekeeper Nicky had falsified her papers.

Allred has mentioned she has additional evidence.

LAist has the the latest on the story.

UPDATE 2:

WHITMAN NOT SO SURE ABOUT LIE DETECTOR TEST NOW

Evidently, the latest is that her spokeswoman told the SF Chron’s Carla Marinucci, that eMeg will do it, when Nicky AND Jerry Brown take a lie detector test as well. In other words, that would be never.

(Jerry Brown? About…um….what?)

  • Whitman said this morning that she would be willing to take a polygraph test to demonstrate she did not know Diaz Santillan was in the country illegally.

Asked if Diaz Santillan would do so, Allred said she does not need to.

    Why don’t I believe Allred???

  • “I’ll take a lie detector test!”

    Oldest trick in the book.

They know it will never come down to the actual test, and if it did, they would just question the machinery the test uses.

    It’s right up there with,

“Look, if I did that, wouldn’t I have done this or that instead of this or that?” , etc. You know, kind of like OJ’s book, “If I did it…”

  • LOL! as we say on the internets.

Didn’t someone recently refer in these comments threads to “the biggest liars” re immigration ? Who was that ? I don’t remember the commenter mentioning eMeg – I think it was one of those Tourettes tirades about “liberals.” Oh, well. Back to anger management…

  • Looks loke Whitmaam did what the Federal Government requested.

“It is not a basis, in and of itself, for you to take any adverse action against the employee, such as laying off, suspending, firing”.

I’m sure it’s against the law to posses and use a false social security card. I wonnder if Gloria Allred will still be defending Nicandra for free, when Nicandra faces criminal charges for using known false documents?

  • WTF – yeah, WTF?

Now why not explain Carl Paladino’s virtues to us…

Then you can work on giving us the hype on Christine O’Donnell.

The GOP is a cancer on this country. Gutter rats…

  • It’s about whether or not Whitman knew she had an illegal immigrant working for her. If she didn’t fire her because the federal government told her not to, that’s all she had to say when this story broke. She tried to lie. And got caught. Jerry’s winning big and you know it.

  • Did you guys hear the teamsters are trying to unionize pot workers? Anyhow, I have a good suggestion for the name of their local:

    CANNABIS WORKERS TEAMSTERS LOCAL 420

    Ha ha ha!

    Whatdya guys think?

  • My reading comprehension is fine and I’m not Grumpy. I’m laughing my ass off. Maybe you meant “giddy.” What’s idiotic and Epic Fail politically at this point is trying to flip the script with an appeal to the fine print. Your gal had her sites on buying the governor’s chair and she’s been exposed as a liar and hypocrite of the first order on an issue she herself pushed out front. That would be sanctions against illegal employers and a “tough on immigration” stance. Allred punked her. She’s twisting on the end of the rope she was handed. That’s the story. Deal with it…

  • One more thing about pot legalization: Sam Quinones wrote an article about it in the LA Times. The reality of legalization sort of contradicts the advocates who’ve always said “Legalize it and tax it.” Well the people providing the product might not see it that way. It turns out that devils lettuce growers have a lot more in common with Libertarians than they do with Socialists and Liberal activists, and the Tom Haydens of the world. They don’t want to be taxed and gummed up with paperwork any more than Gordon Gekko!

  • Allred didn’t punk anyone and idiots like Reg, not man enough to do anything but drive-bys here, is just flapping his non-stop gums.

I don’t read any of my mail, my wife does. who cares about 2003 and what did or didn’t happen. Yeah Whitman wasn’t a busy gal then was she, and all husbands and wives tell each other everything, what dolts some people are. For this to come out on the heels of the debate reeks of orchestration but liberals won’t admit it, that’s why they suck. It was a play for the Latino vote and nothing more.

As I said before I could care less who wins but this was gutter politics by Brown and Media Whore Allred, nothing more.

    ……………

    Ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are the best blogger in the WORLD!

  • I’m an “idiot” – but I read my fucking mail. My reading comprehension, as I noted earlier, is fine and my wife has much more important things to do than baby my sorry, lazy ass. If I was a billionaire and presumably very busy CEO type, I’d hire a smart assistant to read all of the mail for me and flag stuff that was important or raised matters she couldn’t routinely handle. Otherwise most people would consider me an idiot if, for example, I didn’t respond to official inquiries or make sure the bills were paid. “I don’t read my mail, my husband (or wife) does” doesn’t fly as an excuse for anything. (Of course, I’m not in law enforement, so maybe someone with street smarts, years of experience and and intense resentment against folks who flaunt the system understands the processes better than an “idiot” such as myself.)

And I’m glad to see that the Angry Blue Badass is “man enough” to have moved on from calling people “bitches” (with that sweet subtext of prison cell sex fantasies) to identifying “whores” – in this case a “whore” who happens to have the goods.

These were discerning comments in defense of eMeg, especially since “you don’t care who wins the election” except that Jerry Brown is “too leftwing” for your acute political tastes. Congratulations.

There’s something eternally creepy about this ridiculous guttersnipe that makes me want to toss his adolescent smarm back at ‘im, but I have a life, so I’m off to greener pastures.

  • Yeah Whitman wasn’t a busy gal then was she, and all husbands and wives tell each other everything, what dolts some people are

Yes clearley what the Golden State needs is a chief executive, who’s not hands on and can’t effectively run her own mansion.

  • What Whitman and her husband need to do is make public all relevant employment records for the 9 years she worked for them. I’m sure their accountant has these documents.

They also need to contact the SSA and IRS and request all the documents they have on file. These too should be made public.

I think this would go along why to answer most of questions raised so far. One question I have is did either of them complete the information on back of letter “promptly” as requested and return it to the SSA?

The sooner Whitman does this the better because in the mean time, Allred is player her like a fiddle.

  • You talk like you’re made of something Reg but you’re such a dolt. Whatever roles you and your wife play in your marriage is your decision old man, but after 32 plus years mine and my wife have defined our own without any help from you.

I’m lazy cause she takes care of the mail? That took a lot of thought and energy didn’t it? She pays the bills and we seem to do ok with her doing it. Of course she needs any type of input from me she asks for it, it’s a matter of trusting one another. Sorry you don’t have that Reg.

I like how you and Randy both neglected to comment on my claim that this is just an orchestrated attack to grab the Latino vote, of course with the actions of SEIU I guess that’s plain enough for even you two to see.

Reggie, my opinion of you hasn’t changed one bit and you get to keep your title as biggest whiner on the site for crying about what names I’ve called you in the past. Straighten out those panties of yours and have fun in those “greener pastures” old man.

  • This is the type of story the left has to grasp because it’s all about the “Nikki’s” against the rich white “Meg’s” of the world.

    Too funny.

  • I like how you and Randy both neglected to comment on my claim that this is just an orchestrated attack to grab the Latino vote, of course with the actions of SEIU I guess that’s plain enough for even you two to see.

Only because it’s offered up without a shred of proof. It’s just your confirmation basis.

  • I think it reveals a lot about Meg Whitman that she could be so xenophobic in her campaign, yet all the while having an immigrant working for her. I think we’re seeing this out of a lot of the modern day xenophobe movement, aren’t we? They’re using the immigrants for cheap labor, then fighting to harshly kick them out of the country. I’m not going to pretend to be a political pundit and predict who’s going to win this thing, but it sure would be nice to see a common sense revolt against the Republican forces that got Arnold Schwarzenegger elected, and that have spent more money putting non violent people in prison that most entire countries do.

  • And I’ll tell you something else, Nicandra Diaz is in good hands with Gloria Allred in her corner. Nobody fights for victims of greed and exploitation better than Allred. Nobody in the land. Allred is brilliant, and is a true American patriot. Best of luck to her and Diaz, not that they need it. As we all know, their defendant was caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

  • If you can’t put two and two together Randy i’ll blame whatever education system you went through. Anyone who thinks this wasn’t an orchestrated attack doesn’t want to figure things out or find the truth, most likely due to their own far lefy biases.

Allred is a media whore and nothing else.

Shorter Sure Fire: you’re wrong because you disagree with me and prefer a higher standard of proof than my opinion.

    [BIG YAWN]

  • You shut your eyes to anything that doesn’t go along with your preconceived notion of what you believe. I don’t need to post anything else, the proof is out there but you’re just to lazy to do your own leg work when it might upset your apple cart.

    I don’t care.

  • Wow, just watched the second debate and am amazed Jerry Brown didn’t just bring one of “God’s children” up on stage and kiss his ass to show the Latino voters he’ll do anything for their vote.

Don’t get me wrong, as I’ve said I’m not a Whitman fan but Brown is a mental case.

What Brown has taken part in is not too far off from Alan Grayson’s tactics. Now there’s a guy Randy can look up to.

  • “Mykel” and SF, I’m starting to randomly delete comments. Please back off of this personal mud-throwing. All it takes is for one of you to refuse to take the bait.

Then the other person will either have their comments deleted or will back off.

    Please cooperate.

  • Celeste, after reading your blog comments back to about a few months or so, I can clearly see that despite several warnings to Sure Fire about his conduct in here, he still insults other commenters. If he ignores your warnings without consequence, why shouldn’t anyone else?

  • Haven’t been here in a while, but I see it’s still the same idiot brigade: Surefire, Rob, and ATQ.

Celeste, you’d do well to have a wider range of commenters. Your blog posts are better when accompanied by “0 comments” than with mind-numbing stupidity and ad hominem.
