Still, like Richardson says, when “experience is made to sound like leprosy” in this election, something is very wrong, and I am going with my head not my party instincts on this one. She knows how to get things done through compromise, she and Bill were heavily burned but survived the last healthcare battle, and have an improved plan. For all the attempts to make it sound like she’ll put people in debtors’ prison if they don’t buy insurance, her plan is closest to the “Medicare for All” plan currently stalled in the Congress. And if you read today’s Blowback left-right debate on immigration, in the L A Times, the conservative says she’s the “least bad,” of the two, Republican praise.

She sure needs a better party planner, though. Waving flags in union halls with a bunch of earnest older people just isn’t appealing to the young people, wonder why. (However, I caught the tail end of the UCLA rally, and the audience looked more like the women on stage: middle-aged women, not a lot of young people, although they were all over campus. Guess even with Obama it depends on the venue/attraction.)
