The Comments Problem – UPDATED

December 16th, 2009 by Celeste Fremon

I don’t know what in the world is going on with the comment issue. I‘ve (supposedly) fixed it at my end, but still the comments are off.

Hunting down my tech right now. Arrrrgggghhh.

UPDATE: Okay. It’s fixed. If it doesn’t display as fixed, clear your cache and that should do it.

My smart tech (the artist also known as my son) figured it out right away. Whew!

  1. The One Remaining Sane Person Says:

Enjoyed every second of your comments being down.

  2. WTF Says:

I wonder why Celeste is not concerned about people refering to Echo Park as the Eastside, this is the biggest problem facing the victimized residents of the real Eastside.

Who cares about unemployment, gang violence, poverty, and failing schools, we can’t rest until everyone in the world knows the real L.A. Eastside boundary.

Even the folks living in Sacramento know about this injustice, why, why, why doesn’t the whole world know the boundary of the real L.A. Eastside !!!!!!!1

Everyone must read this post and write the governor, mayor, senator, congressman, and president of the U.S. !!!!!

Now we know who “faux hipster” is.

    HA! (<–To ORSP)

WTF: I am deeply concerned. Deeply, deeply, deeply.

Okay, maybe not. But I do think the Huffington post thingy (which triggered the LA Eastside post) is actively cringe-making.

Best Old School: When it comes to coffee on the east side, Café Tropical is OG – original gangster – so old school it doesn’t sell any variation of its café con leche except decaf (and that will cost you extra).

    I mean, EEEeeeeaaauuuuuuuuu!

  5. RobThomas Says:

Maybe she lives next door to Ice T.

  6. RobThomas Says:

I read her blog. She criticizes the police for not backing up their crime statistics with sources. So, she’s not all bad, I guess. Just tries a little too hard. Poor lady. She’s never going to live down pulling out the urban dictionary and explaining to HuffPo readers what OG stands for. Embarrassing.

  7. don quixote Says:

Right On Rob, but I think some of us who are familiar with the OCD workings of a certain troll had an idea.

And a double right on for you Celeste! “I mean, EEEeeeeaaauuuuuuuuu!”
OG-Original Gangster-cafe con leche decaf? Where’s the vomitorium?, that’s too hard core for me!

  8. George Lopez Says:

D.Q. and R.T. a perfect match made online, they both are in need of a friend and attention. May I suggest meeting for menudo at an Eastide establishment. But D.Q. (u member)don’t use the word mayate it will offend the champion of the poor and victimized people of all shades.

  9. don quixote Says:

Besides being a last word freak the commentator above is a cowardly racist who we all know from prior comments.
