Beck’s a hug a thug? Good. The LAPD has been a corrupted, racist quagmire since its inception. It can’t hurt to try a compassionate LAPD chief who really understands the streets. Maybe we need to work with the “OG” thugs to stop the gang violence. We’ve tried leaving it to law enforcement alone. If the new chief can cut back on scandals and get the force to start obeying the law and understanding their role as public servants again, more power to him.
