The LA Times has a welcome editorial
that calls for openness and transparency in the trial of three men accused of being part of a plot to murder Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, a remarkable woman whose death on October 7 2006, shocked writers and others across the world. (The shooter, captured on videotape, has never been caught.)

Here’s the backstory on Anna and the murder of this woman whom many called the conscience of Russia.

Well, you have Russia run by the ruthless former KGB head Vladimir Putin. I’d rather that he take so-called enemies to Siberia and let them live. At least Bush takes known enemy terrorists to a warm Caribbean getaway.

Now, Cut both of your pieces to the same size. Now, you should choose what type go well with from the deck of Poker cards you expect to make your blanket. A spade is perfect; all people will know it really is from a deck of cards. You may do a club, diamond, or heart though! Really, why not make one of each!
