It didn’t the first time. If you think otherwise, maybe you believe that the same is appropriate for Iraq, Iran, and Gaza.

NEW YORK – The New York Times Co. is in talks with Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim Helu about a possible investment of hundreds of millions of dollars that could help the newspaper publisher to meet debt payments, according to published reports.

The New York Times, citing anonymous sources, reported in Monday’s editions that Slim is close to a deal to invest about $250 million in the company. The company’s board was expected to meet on Monday to approve the deal, with an announcement possible as early as Tuesday, the newspaper reported.

A spokeswoman for The New York Times declined to comment Sunday.

Estoy con ti Celeste! Maybe not by my presence in DC but in my heart and emotionally. After such a long never ending nightmare of, of, well you know what I mean, the last 8 years at least, it seems that almost everyone is ready for something powerful and positive to happen for the country.
I hope Obama is strong enough and perseveres through what will surely be a struggle as there are certainly dark forces waiting to tear him down and see him fail.
I think it’s not only on Obama’s shoulders but on the shoulders of all of us, the people, to make sure change and good things start to take place.
