A High-Octane Poetic Road Trip

June 12th, 2008 by Celeste Fremon

Just passing the word about a terrific event
this coming Saturday, June 14, there’s a great lineup of poet/performers who are gathering for a wild and fabulous “night of verse and song” at the Tropico de Nopal Gallery in Echo Park.

The talent includes Richard Montoya of Culture Clash,
KPCC’s Adolfo Guzman-Lopez , and lots more.

Here’s where you go for the rest of the info.

You might as well go to the event. The NBA championship is all but over. Amazing. A 24 point lead at one point and the Lakers still lose.
